Television & Film

Diana Eden has been designing primetime television series, TV movies, and films for over 15 years. Here are a few of her productions:

Ned and Stacey
TV series, starring Thomas Haden Church, Debra Messing, Greg Germann, and Nadia Dajani. Thomas Haden Church, was named “One of the Best Dressed Men on Television" by TV Guide, and “E” Entertainment.

Who knew that Debra Messing would go on to such brilliant success in "Will and Grace", and that Thomas Haden Church would be OSCAR nominated for his role in "Sideways"!

A League of Their Own
TV series, Penny Marshall producer and director, starring Carey Lowell, Wendy Makkena, Tracy Nelson, and more.

One of our directors was Tom Hanks! And I got to shop in all the best vintage shops in Los Angeles for 1940's clothes. Happily, I was rewarded with an Emmy nomination.

Family Law
TV series, with Kathleen Quinlan, Christopher McDonald,
Dixie Carter, and Tony Danza.

I adored working on this series, and got to work with such stellar actors as Hal Holbrook, Dennis Weaver, Tom Bosley, Patty Duke, and Victoria Rowell.

Ladies Man
TV series, with Sharon Lawrence, Alfred Molina, and Betty White.

What a joy to work with the fantastic Betty White! I designed for Sharon again for "Atomic Twister", Alfred co-starred in Spiderman 2 and The Da Vinci Code , and Alexa went on to film stardom in "Spy Kids 1, 2, and 3"!

Sweet Justice
TV series, starring Cicely Tyson, Melissa Gilbert, Ronnie Cox, and Greg Germann.

This series was filmed at Sony Studios, and gave me a chance to design for a wide range of stories and characters. I also got to go to North Carolina to shoot some location scenes.

For Your Love
·TV series, starring Holly Robinson-Peete, Dedee Pfeiffer, James Lesure, and 3 other wonderful actors.

James was a semi-unknown at the time, but now you can watch him every week in the TV series "Vegas" We filmed at Warner Bros. Studios, right next door to "The Drew Carey Show", and 2 stages away from "ER". (We used to see George playing Basketball between scenes!)

Pete's Garden
Short film, written and produced by, and starring Greg Germann.

I costumed Greg in "Sweet Justice" and "Ned And Stacey", so was thrilled when he asked me to design his film. We shot entirely on location about an hour north of Los Angeles. Greg went on to play Fish in "Ally McBeal".

Staying Afloat
Movie made for television, starring Larry Hagman, Claire Yarlett, and Gregg Henry.

We filmed this two hour TV movie in and around Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in August in the sweltering heat and humidity. Hard work, but lots of fun.

Requiem
Short film, starring Tamlyn Tomita and directed by Elizabeth Sung.

This beautiful film by my dear friend Elizabeth, and written by her husband Peter Tulipan, was shot on location in Los Angeles. It was a tribute to her late brother, who inspired her early career as a dancer.

Santa Barbara
Daytime drama, with Nancy Grahn, Robin Mattson, Eileen Davidson, A Martinez, Jack Wagner,Sydney Penny, and Kim Zimmer.

I got to design lots of weddings gowns and glamorous evening gowns. Soap Designers work a very hard schedule - don't underestimate them!
